You are invited to take part in a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop on horror filmmaking, led by film director Sean Cisterna.

This free interactive workshop is designed specifically for amateur media makers. Participants will be guided through the four key phases of filmmaking (pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution) through accessible, concrete examples. The session focuses on low-budget, independent filmmaking, showing how creative projects can take shape with limited resources, collaboration, and imagination.
Everyone is invited but we particularly encourage older adults who are curious about storytelling, film, or creative experimentation to take part. Snacks and refreshments will be served. This workshop is organized in conjunction with the Montreal screening of the documentary film Silver Screamers on May 5.
