Researchers from the ACTLab, in collaboration with the Centre de recherche et d’expertise en gérontologie sociale (CREGÉS) and Respecting Elders: Communities Against Abuse (RECAA) will present their game “Her apartment” in Quebec City. This will be done in the context of the Forum sur la maltraitance, which is organized by the Secrétariat aux aînés (SA) of the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS)
“Her apartment” is an interactive workshop that is based on an escape room of the same name that is located in ACT’s offices at Concordia University. The players are invited to solve a series of puzzles centered around the life of a fictional protagonist. As they progress in the game, the players learn about older adult mistreatment.
